They do vary a little and that's normal..what we look for is to see they continue to gain daily early on.
As they get older the weights are not so important to be taken daily, and we switch to weekly, still
watching for pups to gain weight as they grow. Notice pups are gaining each day, that's whats important at this age.

Alot is Happening! Early Socializing, Puppies are learning to Walk, and we started FIRST FOOD and Early Potty training! We gradually wean over a 3 week period where we offer more and more food and puppies naturally nurse less and less.Puppies are also learning to drink from Water bottle! Our Puppies are used to being held daily..so much so that when I take their photos, I outstretch my hand out and puppy sits calmly while I take photos..we believe socialization to humans are as important as their health for the best possible pet or breeding dog in a small breeder setting. We love these babies and pray they bring our customers much love too!

4/2016 "Beautiful Ruby Slippers"

Many months ago, I had a call from a very kind and humble gentleman from England. Him and his wife had lost their sweet male Shih Tzu, Lord Nero. Lord Windsor asked me not to address him by his title, but by his first name (which I cannot do here as I'm instructed not to publicly).
He had placed a deposit on an upcoming pick of litter puppy and when he found I was ready for Rosie to retire after her next litter, he asked to adopt her as well. I wasn't ready early on, but when I was, I let him know and I had the privilege to help him plan a surprise for his wife, Lady Windsor. Later, shortly before Rosie let, the puppy adoption was cancelled do to his grandfathers health. Before Rosie went home to them, I was to keep it on the down and now that she is home in England and sharing her time between their Santa Barbara home and England, I can post photos without their faces and first names(very understandable as people would put their faces in with theirs as if they were family!).
We had plans to meet with our new customer, where he had planned to pick up Rosie along with his wife on their first trip to Texas, but he had an emergency in England and so we shipped via our back up plan. Rosie was flown to England on Private plane and did not have to suffer the long trip in confined cabin space. I do not ship Internationally and there was no request for it.
I have so enjoyed Lord Windsor's humor, text messages, phone calls and I'm so happy for his wife to have our very sweet Rosie, who is continuing to be so loved and spoiled. She is adjusting wonderfully to her new forever family!
I recently recalled a time a few years ago when I prayed about rehoming Rosie, how I asked my Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ to bring me a very special family IF he wanted me to rehome her..even back then I would cry at the thought of rehoming my sweet Rosie. The Lord (in Heaven) answered my prayer when He brought the Windsor family our way.
Lord Windsor and his staff have been so kind and polite in every way. I 'm thankful that God has blessed Rosie, now Lady Rose with them and them with her.
Photos are courtesy of Lord Windsors staff..who also love and enjoy Lady Rose. Lord Windsor left me a message yesterday that they don't think Lady Rose realizes that all 6 beds are hers. They think she might wonder if it is a doggie hotel." They "love her to bits including all the staff ." God is so good to put this precious family together with Rosie (Lady Rose).
